Many people contribute to their IRAs, 401(k)s and other qualified retirement plans for years without fully understanding the rules, tax implications and options that may be available to them – until it’s too late. It’s like driving down the road to retirement without a map (or nowadays, a GPS).

Please join Doug Lockwood for an informational program and dinner, especially for retirees or those retiring soon. He will explain (in plain English) the latest IRA rules and tax saving strategies, along with common costly mistakes that may be avoided.

Topics we’ll cover include:

  • Learn how you could reduce taxes on future RMDs and how to generate tax-free income in retirement.
  • Is a ROTH IRA conversion right for you?
  • What you need to know about when to take Social Security and how your benefits are taxed.
  • Pension creation, creating an income you and your spouse cannot outlive.
  • Preserve your income from unnecessary taxation mistakes
  • The hidden mistakes in assessing risk in the current market.
