Bio

David Scureman is a Wealth Strategist and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) Professional at Harbor Lights Financial Group. He assists his clients in creating complex financial strategies designed to maximize their life experiences and goals. The MBA he received from Southern New Hampshire University, along with a background in corporate finance, helps provide a solid foundation he uses to serve his clients.

David understands that all his clients have unique situations. He strives to gain a thorough understanding of their needs through advanced planning, guiding them through the accumulation of wealth into retirement and beyond.

David works with local business owners on their specific needs including benefit plans, succession planning and/or the sale of their business. In the community, David teaches adult continuing education courses at Brookdale and Bergen Community Colleges, as well as other local educational seminars.

Away from the office David is an active member of his community, volunteering at various events including the Spring Lake Five Mile Race. He is also a member of SCORE, a national association focused on mentoring small business owners. He resides with his wife and two West Highland Terriers in Spring Lake. In his free time, you’ll find David on the golf course or in the mountains snowboarding.
