Robert Tendler is a Founding Partner at Harbor Lights Financial Group and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional, with more than 34 years of experience in the financial services industry. Robert focuses on working with pre-retirees and retirees to develop retirement income investing strategies to help generate optimal cash flow from sources such as personal retirement savings, IRAs, pensions, annuities and Social Security to fund a desired retirement lifestyle. This includes providing after-tax net income projections.

Rob has appeared on CNBC and offered his opinion and commentary to leading financial media organizations, including Kiplinger’s Personal Finance Magazine, USA Today, Time and Defined Contribution News. He has presented seminars and lectures on planning to Fortune 500 companies and leading civic organizations. He has also spoken publicly on topics ranging from the importance of investing in a 401(k) plan to investment selection and allocation.

Rob worked in the tax services group for the “big eight” accounting firm Coopers & Lybrand, a predecessor firm to PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP, and at Donalson, Lufkin & Jenrette, where he was responsible for special situations and investment strategy. Although he no longer offers these services as Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network is not a tax or legal advisor.

Rob has been married for more than 35 years, and he and his wife have a daughter who is a Pediatric Physician. He is a native of Brooklyn, NY, and a past member of the Board of Directors for the American Red Cross and American Heart Association. Rob enjoys playing golf in his free time.
